Karen Mileski is an award-winning sales executive and trainer who has helped thousands of people improve their own business and personal success.
Karen’s largest corporate roles were played at Ricoh Company, an International Fortune 500 Company. There, she served in a variety of positions including Western Region Training Manager, Regional Sales Representative, Senior District Manager and Western Regional Marketing Manager covering 13 states. One of Karen’s most meaningful accomplishments came from the results of student surveys where she was recognized as National Trainer of the Year.
Eventually, Karen’s entrepreneurial spirit overrode the comfort and security she had found in her corporate environment. She made the decision to take all of the skills she had honed for over 20 years and use them to promote her own business.
2006 was an incredible year for Karen. She successfully brought her own product to market and received exposure on an NBC TV affiliate and also celebrity events. After this experience, Karen wanted to continue to live her true passion of helping others succeed in achieving their dreams. Based on this, she became a professional speaker and began her own training and consulting business.
Although Karen was successfully managing her own business and pursuing her passion, she knew she could be playing a much bigger game and really missed working with a team. She started to actively search for a mentor to help take her business skills to the next level. That is when Karen was exposed to Blair Singer, a best-selling author and internationally acclaimed speaker. She knew she had found the person, team and mission she was looking for.
In 2008, Karen started working with Blair and is now the Director of the Blair Singer Training Academy. This team is composed of over 200 people in 30 countries around the world. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for everyone by creating the greatest teachers, leaders, facilitators and coaches on the planet. She now enjoys the benefits of being on a championship team, using her speaking, sales, coaching and training skills to help others experience their own success, while maintaining her own dream of being an entrepreneur.
As a board member for MFEF, Karen reflects on her two biggest outdoor adventures that accelerated her own growth. The first was a 9-day Outward Bound bicycle trip in her twenties. The second was her recent summiting of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa at 19,341 ft. She is a strong believer in walking the talk when it comes to personal and professional development, especially as a coach, consultant and speaker. She says, “If you are going to ask someone to do something, it is massively more meaningful, powerful and impactful if you have experienced it yourself. After all, if you want to be physically fit, you wouldn’t want to be trained by someone who was out of shape. Success happens when you are being congruent with who you really are and what it is that you do.”
