Colette brings her business acumen and passion for fitness and nutrition to the Medfit team. Colette is a Registered Dietitian and spent her early career focused on the improving the health and nutrition of her clients. She was the Nutritionist at the Clinical Research Center at Temple University and Director of Patient Food Service at University of Colorado Medical Center.

After receiving her MBA in Finance from University of Colorado she worked as a Finance Manager at Beckman Instrument’s Diagnostic group. She was a member of domestic and international Finance teams managing multi-million dollar operations.

Over her career she worked in the healthcare, software, publishing, trade shows and nutraceutical industries. She led both domestic and international Finance teams and in addition to business planning she brings a wealth of knowledge on merger and acquisitions to MedFit.

Her Finance career spanned 30 years. She was responsible for the integrity of financial  reports, budgets, and long-range business plans. She was an integral member of executive teams responsible for making sound business decisions and directing the strategies of large private and public organizations.

Colette is most proud of her work at Metagenics where she combined her passion for nutrition and wellness with her strong business sense. Metagenics is one the leading developers of nutraceuticals, medical foods and protocols.  Their products and protocols helped address unique health needs for a higher level of wellness. Colette embodied this mission to improve health through lifestyle medicines’ basic tenet of healthier eating and exercise.

Colette is active and lives the healthy lifestyle. She is an avid runner, cyclist, and paddler.  She ran many half marathons; placed in the top three in her age group.

Over her adult life, Colette has volunteered for many non-profits. Her non-profit experience includes serving on the Grant committee of an Orange County non-profit. She has also been a UC Master Gardener for over 20 years helping gardeners and organizations use sustainable landscape practices and growing healthy foods.
